To enhance capacity in the management and use of geospatial information, the State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG) organized two training sessions dedicated to the technical staff of the Vlora Regional Water Supply and Sewerage Company on September 22, 2026 and the Lezha Regional Water Supply and Sewerage Company on September 29, 2026.

The training sessions focused on the collection, structuring, and publication of data regarding water supply and sewerage networks, as well as on improving their management processes in accordance with national geoinformation standards. During the training, participants were introduced to the requirements of the “Urban Infrastructure and Government Services” geoinformation technical standard, as well as procedures for the management, updating, and dissemination of geospatial data.

Through these activities, ASIG aims to foster unified practices for the management and exchange of geospatial information, thereby contributing to improved data quality and accessibility within the water supply and sewerage sector.
