Meeting between ASIG and business representatives in the field of tourism, Gjirokaster District

The General Director of the State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG), Mrs. Vilma Tomço held a meeting with a group of representatives of 75 businesses operating in the field of tourism in Gjirokastër district.

The purpose of this meeting was to identify, discuss and coordinate the solution of a number of problems related to the updating of infrastructural data in the maps system.

Occurring on the beginning of the tourist season, there is a need for a more accurate orientation of tourists and visitors, avoiding as much as possible their misinformation with out-of-date information, also referring to the many recent investments in the road infrastructure.

ASIG prioritizes cooperation with all actors and institutions, guaranteeing the updating of data at the national level.
