Albania needs a coordinated, comprehensive information system (NSDI) based on the principle of Partnership. The implementation of this principle will lay the foundation for a modern governance and to achieve the challenges of EU integration, thus narrowing the space that shares us with the most developed part of Europe. ASIG is committed to take the lead in developing the NSDI implementation strategy and plan in the Republic of Albania, through leadership, development and promotion of common infrastructure with a genuine collaborative approach between all other stakeholders. A key factor for the successful implementation of NSDI will be enabling users in spatial data through a successful public, private and international institutional partnership. There are a number of public institutions partnering in this challenge that play an important role in creating an NSDI in our country. .
